# Lipid Abnormalities in Diabetic Children (1997) (Institute of Postgraduate Childhood Studies, Ain Shams University). This study indicates that apart from total cholesterol levels which were found to be considerably high in uncontrolled diabetic children, other plasma lipid levels also have to be taken into consideration. These observations reveal that the prevalence of lipid abnormalities in uncontrolled diabetic children is high and may lead to acceleration of CAD. Also, control of diabetes mellitus plays a major role in preventing metabolic abnormalities with consequent atherosclerosis and coronary artery disease.
# Behavioral effect of early mother's separation from her premature infant (1991) (Institute of Postgraduate Childhood Studies, Ain Shams University).
